Webtrends Analytics (SaaS version)

Does your web team know what’s going on with your social media or mobile app? If the CEO asked you for the state of your entire digital presence, could you go to one tool and give her a fact-driven answer? In most organizations, silos of expertise divide the digital channels and their one-off analytics tools. They work, but only with a lot of meetings and a lot of custom spreadsheets.
Webtrends Analytics 10 is the all-in-one analytics package for mobile apps, social media and websites.

Reviews for Webtrends Analytics (SaaS version)
My opinion:
Webtrends Analytics is the best tool on the market if you want to do complete web analysis without sampling data and have really complex demands to what to measure. There is very little that Webtrends cannot be implemented to measure. The amount of options to tweak your reports going up to 20+ drilldown levels with unlimited custom metrics changing URLs, pre and post processing and a vibrant API for importing and exporting data, is why Webtrends is the favourite tool in amoungst others the financial sector. It does however take training and knowledge, but with the right person behind the rudder, you will gain insight like you have not done before.
Since you can constantly re-analyze data and even have access to your logfiles, there is really no limit to what you can measure. I have tracked a PERL application with Webtrends and it still works like a charm. Since there are no cost or limits on custom reports, you can build basically anything you want to provide any insight you like.
Webtrends Support is world class. That is why they are awarded as the best in the business. I have yet to have an issue they could not fix.
In On Premisis the dashboards are good, without being world class. They are customizable but there are limitations to exactly how each report looks on the dashboard. In Analytics 10, things look extrremely cool but the new interface still have no customization options built in for dashboards.
Definitely not easy, but that it also because it is simply the most advanced tool out there. It is not hard to learn to use. But to master it, you need a good deal of training. It is worth that time.
Very easy to implement. Implement a script in your master template and you're off. Then you can add custom tracking using either META tags or event handlers (for apps, flash, etc). It is all parameter based and very easy to understand. I can implement Webtrends tracking to a website in less than 1 hour.
Webtrends got its start in 1993 being the first company to provide a web analytics tool. Three tiers of products available to accommodate small to large companies. Webtrends has an imporant ability to host stats on your server or Webtrend's.
Pros:
- Simplify your reports in storyboard mode
- Track mobile phone users on your site
- Measure videos on your site
- Monitor social networking activity
Cons:
- Full support plans cost extra
- Can't collect full data on users with JavaScript or cookies disabled
- Reports can't be exported as Word or HTML files
- Doesn't track when a user bookmarks your site
