Clicky claims it is designed to be the easiest web analytics service you've ever used. Services like Google Analytics do everything except take out the trash, but you probably don't know what any of the data means. With Clicky, they claim, everything just makes sense.

Why Clicky is a powerful tool and lets you feel like a spy?
Most of the people who are interested in web analytics are familiar with Google Analytics and the huge list of the features provided for their users. It is possible to get really deep into it by looking at the numbers for hours analyzing your traffic and trying to improve the bounce rate. But the problem is that with Google Analytics you can get bored with all the stats. Sometimes you can discover a feeling in yourself that you want to connect with people, learn from them, and teach them what you know. And in the end, it’s all about having fun. Statistics isn’t that much fun. Well, until discovering Clicky.
The installation process is not really difficulat, so you can start to go through the features. One of the first things your eyes can get stuck to is the word SPY in the menu. It is so adventurous.
Clicky makes you to click on it, and it could be one the first features you are willing to discover. And it could the only feature you need. You can get stunned looking at the screen and the information received from your visitors.Looking at the screen at Clicky, you get the information in real time. You can watch who is visiting your blog. You get information about what posts they are looking at, how many actions they perform (one action is just visiting the post), and how they enter the blog. You see how they had searched Google to end up at your blog posts. And you even get information from the spy feature at Clicky on how the keywords or phrases ranked at Google. This is amazing.
Clicky turns you into a spy. You feel like James Bond. It is a good feeling. With Clicky you can do test in real time. The SPY feature makes you see what people are doing at your blog and what they are not. You can add banner and check if the next visitor will click on it or not. You can add some links, you can add more text, or less text or a new headline or whatever in order to test if people will click (take action). You don’t have to wait another day to get some advanced statistics from Google (yes, Google Analytics is awesome, and that they’ll have real time stats as well, but Clicky makes it a lot easier and a lot more fun).
Clicky Analytics: Clean, Simple, Effective!
The Clicky Dashboard
More than any other affordable analytics package, the dashboard for Clicky shows what is happening on the site now. Nothing really fancy, but it just works and measures what it is supposed to measure.
Clicky Analytics Spy
In addition to the dashboard realtime information, one can use Clicky Spy feature which gives a very simple, but an approriate and pleasant AJAXified overview of the traffic coming in to your site:
Clicky API
Clicky allows you to insert data into it by using their internal data logging API. The used Clicky WordPress plugin uses this feature to store comments. Instead of having to do the "unreliable" thing one needs to do in Google Analytics: adding an onclick handler to the submit comment button, one can just do a request to the Clicky servers when the comment is inserted into the database.
Once someone leaves a comment, the plugin is also able, using the cookie that WordPress sets once you make a comment, to track the visitor by name, so if they come back, you'll know exactly who it is. This feature (the API as well as the goal part) requires a Pro account, which leads me to the next advantage: its pricing (aff link). You can do up to 30k pageviews per day in an account that costs $60 a year. That's serious value for money if you compare it to any other paid analytics package
How about speed?
In the past, Clicky Analytics had some performance issues from time to time. Recently they've been improving a lot though, with their latest move being to move to a truly global CDN for their tracking scripts.
