Actionable insights:

SiteCatalyst offers loads of data on which online marketers can spend a remarkable amount of time, but the minor problem is to create the right kind of overview in the huge range of available data.


Support quality:
Sufficient support information is available in a number of ways. Especially the search function is easy-to-use and provides the user with the right kind of answers.

Dashboard quality:
The dashboard has a unique PDF integration. Very nice editor to create reports.

Accessibility:
It is somewhat hard for people to use SiteCatalyst without a lot of analytical skills and experience. They tend to get lost in the data or hit the I-do-not-know-what-to-do wall. An experienced analist will enjoy the interface much more.

Ease of implementation:
The standard tagging is off course easy to set up. It becomes more complicated with the custom tags, for tracking conversions, flash, or whatever. Then you need help if you do not have the technical resources available. The maintenance of the analytics tags is where user can encounter with problems. You will have to watch carefully for lack of documentation, lack of testing, lack of backward testing, lack of standards for your custom tags. Typical analytics problems, but they will become worse due to the custom tags you might use with the Sitecatalyst tool.
